If you own a Mercedes-Benz, or have an appreciation for the marque, the Mercedes-Benz Club of the ACT will interest you. Founded in 1976, the Club brings together owners of these vehicles, in the ACT and surrounding areas, who are interested in the enjoyment of their vehicles. A regular magazine is distributed to members to keep you abreast of club activities and the history, development and technical aspects of the marque.

Come to one of our events and you might get to sit in a Gullwing!

The club organizes social, touring and technical events throughout the year. Members of the Club also participate in special events organized by other car clubs of the ACT and regularly participate in the events run by the Mercedes-Benz clubs in other states, including the bi-annual National Rally.

The Mercedes Benz Club of the ACT holds its annual Concours d’Elegance, concurrent with Canberra’s Floriade. This occasion involves the display and judging of immaculately presented vehicles from Canberra and interstate.

CLUB ACTIVITIES
To give you an idea of the range of Club activities our program looks like this:

-Touring Events, of a day or more, approximately monthly.
-Concours weekend of activities in September.
-We participate in general motoring events in Canberra including :
- Wheels, a multi marque charity event organized by "Council of ACT Motor Clubs" to raise funds for local charities. Se the picture links in the left hand margin.
- Motorfest, which is an integral part of the Canberra Festival.
- The Combined clubs economy run and breakfast run. Both these events are also organized by the "Council of ACT Motor Clubs"
-The Committee also meets once a month

Dates and places for the actual events are promulgated in the monthly Club magazine.
